While doing research on information processing, I came across an interesting article. As we spoke in class, the human mind when under going information processing, retrieves the information in a step by step matter. For example, When we hear something, we are collecting the sound through our ears, and then a signal is sent to our brain, identifying what the sound is. Computers also work in the same way, in a step by step sequence. For insistence, When a computer is told to do a specific task, it identifies the task and then acts upon it. Both the human mind and computer’s react to instinct, explaining how signals sent to the “brain” control our information processing. The similarities of the human mind and computer, is drawn from the study of computer analogy.
Thank you and enjoy!
