Hi guys my old coach sent me a wonderful article on meditation and its long term benefits on the brain. Now this study claims that consistent ritualistic mediation over the coarse of many years has shown to drastically slow down the deterioration of the brain. Here you don’t have these once in awhile soccer moms who go to a gym just to relax twice a week twice a week. The people in this study have been consistently practicing meditation for over twenty years. The areas of he brain that benefited most were the grey matter areas. This study also claims in general meditation can improve memory, verbal fluency, executive function as well as creativity.
