Flashbulb Memory

Most people don’t remember their day to day routines because they’re so regular. But, when the event is traumatic, or immensely significant, we tend to remember who what when where they were and what they were doing. You seems to remember minor details, that is unusual.

  1. Flashbulb memory is an interesting concept because if something is pleasant or a happy moment you can easily forget it. However, if a an event causes an intense emotional response of anger or fear you can’t seem to eliminate from you’re memory. It almost seems as though humans are geared toward pain and devastation than happiness or contentment.
