I came across this video that attests to the fact that the English language is really complex. We discussed in class how difficult learning English really is, especially if your learning the “rules” so to speak. Morphemes and phonemes can be quite challenging whereas if one phoneme in a word is changed so does the meaning. As this video showcases, the English language is really crazy. It gives the example of the plural form of “foot” is “feet” but the plural form of “boot” is “boots” not beet. I would be confused if I didn’t speak it. Take a look.
